It is hard to believe, but this is the third generation of the BMW 6 Series Coupe. The latest and greatest from the German automaker is set debut at the 2011 New York International Auto Show. The new coupe joins the already introduced BMW 6 Series Convertible which itself will be available at dealerships next month. In addition to the 6 Series Coupe, BMW will be unveiling a new TwinPower four-cylinder engine that will power the Z4 Roadster and the BMW App that takes smart phone connectivity to the next level.
The new BMW 650i Coupe will fulfill the innermost desires of the BMW enthusiast. There is a reason that BMW is known as the Ultimate Driving Machine, and this coupe certainly lives up to the mantra. As always the 650i Coupe sports stylish good looks combined with a level of luxury even the most discriminating driver would appreciate.
Features expected in a BMW are certainly present. The driver’s cockpit is designed to allow for aggressive driving with comfort in mind. The car features the swept-back greenhouse and muscular lines familiar to not only BMW drivers, but envied by nearly every other driver on the road. The BMW 650i will be as much of a workhorse in the luzury line-up in 2011 as it has been in the past.
The car boasts a V-8 engine that cranks out an impressive 400 horse power between 5,500 and 6,400 rpm and features peak torque of 450 lb-ft between 1,750 and 4.500 rpm. This new driving machine will be available at U.S. auto dealers in the Fall of 2011.
